Democrat governors versus Republicans….who’s handled Covid better?…hint one has 37% higher unemployment and 19% more deaths per capita….

• Democratic States have 37% higher unemployment.
• Democratic States have 19% higher deaths per capita due to Covid.
• Democratic states have seen Unemployment during Covid rise 6.0pts versus 3.7pts in Republican states (measured Feb’20 versus Sept’20).
• 17 of the 22 highest unemployment states, are Democratic.

• Data shows LARGE METROPOLITAN AREAS are more susceptible to Covid deaths. For reference 53 of the top 100 metropolitan areas are in Republican states.
• IN SUM, democratic governors have 37% higher unemployment, 19% more covid deaths and a greater increase in unemployment during covid AND adjusting for population density and large metro areas, the conclusion are unaffected.
